Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering

Department Profile

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2013, with an intake of 60 undergraduate students. Since then the department has come a long way and is now regarded as one of the premiere departments of the institution. It is equipped with outstanding infrastructure and boasts of a unit of 10 learned and dedicated faculty members and sincere staff who work with zeal and enthusiasm to provide a vibrant and optimum learning environment to the students and help them acquire the skills which are required to excel in today’s competitive environment. To motivate the research activity among the student and faculty members, they are grouped under six research groups like Image processing group, VLSI group, Signal processing and Communication group, Information Retrieval group, Networking group and Medical electronics group to carry out the research in the advanced research fields. Our students got placed in companies like CapGemini, Toppr, Tech Mahindra, BillionTags. The department has a close interaction with the alumni and is continuously using their inputs for improvement of the curriculum and research facilities.
